"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it." (Matthew 7:13)
Lord, we pray for all those who are on that broad highway that leads to destruction: even now turn their hearts to repentance.
"Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:14)
Jesus, help us daily choose the narrow way. Guide us by your Holy Spirit today. Use us to bring people back to you. Thank you.

***** Please attend and pray for Bishop Love's visits to the Northern Adirondack Deanery – Trinity, Plattsburgh to meet with the clergy and laity to discuss General Convention 2009. Pray that questions will be courteous and answers guided by the Holy Spirit. The meeting is October 6th starts at 6:00 with Evening Prayer and will be finished by 9:00. Evening prayer will be followed by dinner and discussion.
***** Christ the King Spiritual Life Center is looking for people who can make a regular commitment to helping out. If you can commit to one day a week or more, there are opportunities in grounds keeping, maintenance, and hospitality, just to mention a few. Call Brenda Reid at 692-9550 to find out how you can help.
