5/19/2010, #61, 2nd Quarter 2010
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, (Ephesians 4:1)
Lord Jesus, please help us answer your call; help us walk in a manner worthy of the children of God.
with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, (Ephesians 4:2)
Jesus, help us have the same mind that you had: you came in humility to serve and to save.
endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:3)
Holy Spirit, please help us strive to do this at the Diocesan Convention and in all activities throughout the diocese.
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; (Ephesians 4:4)
Father, please help us be a people of hope who maintain the unity of the body of Jesus Christ you son.
one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:5-6)
Father, please enter into all our lives by your Holy Spirit and help us proclaim the faith we have in Jesus. Thank you.
A word received: Pray for my little ones. I AM calling my people to pray for the lost and the least. The prayer table is a visible sign of my love for the lost and the least.
A word received: Yes, you are in my care. Keep looking to me to provide.
Wednesday: 119:121-144; Isaiah 4:2-6; Ephesians 4:1-16; Matthew 8:28-34
Thursday: 105:23-45; Zechariah 4:1-14; Ephesians 4:17-32; Matthew 9:1-8
