Don -- "That I will make it through the day."

Danny -- He first said, "No." Then came back and asked, "What's this all about?" I explained we were there to pray for people who wanted prayer. He said, "I've lost my job. I'm homeless. Pray that I will get to Florida and be reunited with my daughter who is in a home there."

Mike -- "That I will have a good day."

Emmanuel -- "Strength and courage. I just moved here."

Carlos -- "I just got out of jail yesterday (3 years). Pray for a job and for my family situation." I urged him to come to church for fellowship and support. He has been to the Neighborhood Meals in the past.

Foggy (man) -- "That God will bless my soul." He got several hats for his kids.

Debra (regular) -- We prayed for her parents, Berry and Elizabeth, and for her niece Mahogany. She was talking on her cell phone with Paula (regular) so she put it on speaker and we prayed for Paula and John and their children.

Douggie -- "I've been clean and sober for a couple of years now. It is so good (pointing to his shopping bag) to be buying something else than drugs."

Sean -- "For my wife +Cynthia who has been sick on and off."

Wayne -- "For a job." Then he asked, "Are you out here every Saturday?" I said, "Every Saturday."

Tom (a repeat from last week) -- "For my brother +Jim. It's his birthday today and I'm going to go hang out with him." A gave him a cross to give to Jim and he took a couple of hats for him. He was really pleased to be able to give his brother something for his birthday.
