"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock." (Matthew 7:24-25)

Jesus, you are my rock and my refuge, my high tower that I can run into in the storms of life. Thank you.

"But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall." (Matthew 7:26-27)

Father, I pray for all those who are building their lives on sand and seeing their work and their lives swept away in the storms of life. In your mercy send your Holy Spirit to them to guide them to Jesus. Thank you.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; Let the sea roar, and all its fullness; Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it. Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice before the Lord. For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth. (Psalm 96:11-13)

A word received: Join with all my creation in praising me and rejoicing.

Sadly I meet so many people who condemn themselves for what ever reason.

      It breaks my heart.

They find some reason to be judged.

As if there is not enough judgement around!

Is it a mark of humility or habitual condemnation?

Come on, Jesus came to give us life abundant.

I find myself so often quoting:

â€œTherefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2

Hey, if you qualify for this self condemnation malarkey, "Stop it! "

      Be set free right now.

      Sermon over!
