7/20/2013, #14, 3rd Quarter 2013
Thank you, LORD, for lifting me up when I am down.
O LORD my God, I cried out to you, and you healed me. (Psalm 30:2)
Jesus, thank you for hearing me when I cry out to you.
O LORD, you brought my soul up from the grave; you have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. (Psalm 30:3)
Holy Spirit, I trust that you will raise me to new life at that great day of resurrection, just as you did with Jesus.
Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holy name. (Psalm 30:4)
Father, please help me to sing your praises and to bless you for your kindness to me and my family.
For his anger is but for a moment, his favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)
Jesus, I pray for those who weep and mourn that you will bring them to the joy and comfort of your Holy Spirit. Thank you.

***** St. Ann's Church (37 Division Street, Amsterdam) will celebrate our monthly Healing Eucharist on the 3nd Saturday of the month at 6pm, July 20. This service will begin with contemporary praise and worship music, Eucharist will be celebrated, and prayer will be offered for those in need of healing or any other needs.
We are blessed to have a guest preacher with us this month. Rev. Donna J. Rohrmiller ministers out of a deep love of the Lord and His Word. She has been a missionary since 2004 when she visited Ghana, West Africa, as Bible school student. Ghana and its people have been part of Donna’s life ever since. She serves as the Ambassador to Ghana for International Accelerated Missions (IAM). The goal of this ministry, “Donna in Ghana,” is to be a catalyst for godly transformation in all whom the ministry touches. The activities of the ministry include overseeing and directing short-term, part-time Bible schools, scholarship and other educational assistance to needy youth, and health insurance and other assistance to the needy elderly. Dearest to Donna’s heart is to teach and preach the Word of God with revelation from a position of intimacy. A freewill offering will be taken at the healing service in support of her ministry.

***** Mudge Scripture Prayer
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Lord, we rejoice in all the blessings of this day. We rejoice in your creation. We rejoice that You have given life to us. We rejoice for the eternal life that You have promised through the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Your Son Jesus Christ for all who believe in Him. And we rejoice that You give us the privilege of serving You.
We rejoice for the ministries of Father Shaw and Mother Julie Mudge. We thank You that You have called them to minister to the future spiritual leaders in Tanzania and Belize. We pray for your continued guidance for them and for your continued provision for their needs. And we pray for some rest and relaxation as they settle back in the Capital District of New York and then as they travel to see family in Maine.
Thank You Lord, for the beauty of the summer months and for the gift of renewal and refreshment. Amen.
