8/15/2013, #37, 3rd Quarter 2013

Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! (Psalm 105:1)
Jesus, yours is the name that is above every name. We call upon you and your name for your church and your people. Help us make your deeds known among the peoples.

Sing to him, sing psalms to him; talk of all his wondrous works! (Psalm 105:2)
Holy Spirit, let our lips sing and speak of Jesus and all his wondrous works.

Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! (Psalm 105:3)
Father, we rejoice in the glory of Jesus' holy name. Give us undivided hearts to praise him.

Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his face evermore! (Psalm 105:4)
Jesus, we seek your strength -- the power of your Holy Spirit.

Remember his marvelous works which he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth, (Psalm 105:5)
Holy Spirit, please help us to be a people who remember Jesus' works and tell others. Help us to live by the judgments of his words. Thank you.

O seed of Abraham his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones! (Psalm 105:6)
Father, thank you that by faith in your son Jesus we become heirs to the promises made to Abraham your servant and friend.

A word received: You are called to serve. Listen to me and I will show you what to do.

A word received: Keep your eyes on me. Let me guide you -- not public opinion.
