9/1/2013, #52, 3rd Quarter 2013

9/1/2013, #52, 3rd Quarter 2013Let brotherly love continue. (Hebrews 13:1)
Jesus, please help us have fellowship with one another in your Spirit.

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. (Hebrews 13:2)
Holy Spirit, move our hearts to receive people, known and unknown, into our homes.

Remember the prisoners as if chained with them--those who are mistreated--since you yourselves are in the body also. (Hebrews 13:3)
Father, we remember before you your suffering church and those who will be martyred today for their faith in Jesus.

Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. (Hebrews 13:4)
Holy Spirit, guide your people in what they choose to watch on TV and the internet.

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For he himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5)
Father, help us daily look to you for our bread and provision.

So we may boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" (Hebrews 13:6)
Thank you, Jesus, for all that you have done for me and my family.
