10/3/2013, #3, 4th Quarter 2013

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
      Jesus, help us make you Lord of our lives in deed as well as in word.

Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!' (Matthew 7:22-23)
      Jesus, please help us by your Holy Spirit to live within the boundaries your Father has set for us to live in.

"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. (Matthew 7:24-25)
      Jesus, you are our rock. Help us to build only on you so that we may endure.

But everyone who hears these sayings of mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall." (Matthew 7:26-27)
      Lord, so much that seemed magnificent and strong is being swept away in the flood of ungodliness sweeping through our nation and your church.

And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. (Matthew 7:28-29)
      Jesus, even today people are astonished by your teaching and your authority. Help the leaders and teachers and people of the Episcopal Church submit to your authority and know you as Lord as well as Savior. Thank you.

Thursday: 105:1-22 * 105:23-45; 2 Kings 18:28-37; 1 Cor. 9:1-15; Matt. 7:22-29
Friday: 102 * 107:1-32; 2 Kings 19:1-20; 1 Cor. 9:16-27; Matt. 8:1-17

*****       The people of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Colonie are happy to welcome you to a Restoring the Foundations Introductory Healing and Deliverance Seminar, conducted by Chester and Betsy Kylstra (founders of the worldwide RTF ministries), November 1st and 2nd, at St. Michael’s.
      Restoring the Foundations is a Christ-centered prayer ministry. Together, through prayer, we cooperate with the Holy Spirit as He reveals the origins and characteristics of those areas in our life that have worked together to hinder our relationships, and our growth in Christ.
Four Ministry Areas:
      * Sins of the Fathers & Resulting Curses
      * Ungodly Beliefs
      * Soul/Spirit Hurts
      * Demonic Oppression
RECEIVE THESE KEYS AT THE SEMINAR:
      * Understand how pain enters your life and hinders your destiny
      * Learn about the four problem areas all of us have
      * Discover the Biblical basis for healing in each of the problem areas
      * Observe a live demonstration as the Integrated Approach as applied to one issue in ministry
      * Receive a fresh touch of God’s healing through group ministry
      * See the significance of the RTF Integrated Approach to ministry and its effectiveness
      The seminar will include teaching, demonstration, and group ministry. Come prepared to enter fully into the group ministry times, which often result in a significant ‘touch’ from God.
      Registration by October 13, please. Call 869-6417. Cost is $60 per person, or $90 per couple. Meals will be provided (dinner on Friday the 1st, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday the 2nd) for $25 per person. For more information about RTF, go to their website http://rtfi.org .
