11/3/2013, #29, 4th Quarter 2013
Jesus, thank you for what you did with Zacchaeus; thank you for what you have done with me. I was lost and you sought me out and saved me. Thank you.
Holy Spirit, please guide me in my words and deeds so that I don't join the crowd that rejects a sinner coming to Jesus.
Father, please give me a will to seek out more of Jesus, no matter what the cost. You gave Zacchaeus such a heart, please do that for me as well. Thank you.
"Come now, and let us reason together," says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken. (Isaiah 1:18-20)
LORD, please give me a willing and obedient heart so that I may enter into your good pleasure for me. Thank you.
