Father, help me love you with my mind. Please help me take every thought captive to obey Christ. Help me cast down every argument and every high thing that exalts itself against knowing you. (See 2 Corinthians 10:5)
And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 22:39-40)
Holy Spirit, come into my heart and my mind and help me love in word and deed all those you give me as neighbors. Thank you.
And the LORD said to me, "Amos, what do you see?" And I said, "A plumb line." Then the Lord said: "Behold, I am setting a plumb line In the midst of My people Israel; I will not pass by them anymore. (Amos 7:8 )
A word received: My word is the plumb line.
Open the eyes and ears of your people and send revival.
They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your pleasures. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. (Psalm 36:8-9)
A word received: Why don't you drink my living water?

***** PRAYER TABLE REPORT, ST. ANN'S OF AMSTERDAM (Monday, Dec. 9, 2013; 10-11:10 a.m. in front of our church on Division Street. Very cold and windy morning after light snow. We have been offering winter clothes items like hats, gloves, socks and homemade items like women's scarves and children's slippers, plus non-perishable food items such as soup, mac and cheese, tuna fish. Today we gave out a TON of food. I filled a large laundry basket of these food items and it was all gone when the hour was over save for a few boxes of pasta. We are grateful for the generosity of our church members and outsiders who bring in food items and offer checks for purchasing food and clothes. The need in our community is very keen.)
t--received wooden cross made by Dennis Adams of North Carolina.
a--anointed with Holy Oil.

t,t,f,c -- ED -- This man asked for prayers for healing for his mother SHARON, who is "not doing well" and Ed is very worried.
f,c, a -- REBECCA -- Rebecca is a regular. In fact, she was the first-ever visitor to His table here in July of 2012 when we had our first Prayer Table. She asked for prayers of Thanksgiving for MICHAEL, her nephew who she takes care of during the day while her sister works. Michael was sick with an infection from spider bites recently ... but it all cleared up! Now he has bronchitis, but he is feeling better.
t -- YOUNG WOMAN (No name) -- She took a cross and asked for prayer for protection, safety and good health.
f -- DAVID -- Needed prayer for ongoing financial problems he is having.
f,c, t, t -- MAN and WOMAN (no names) -- This couple came and couldn't believe we were offering food and clothes for FREE. They obviously were in great need and we did not mind letting them have all they needed.
t,t, f, c -- MARGARET -- This woman often comes to our Community Meal on the last Sunday of the month. She has very little in the way of luxury herself, but she took food and clothes and two crosses for people who she says " ... need it more than I do!"
