Christ Church Schenectady New Year's Eve Prayer Table Report, Tuesday December 31, 2013, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Dan and Joe Popa, and Torre Bissell on State St.

+--indicates received a wooden cross made by Dennis Adams of North Carolina
199--"199 Promises of God", a small paperback with encouraging quotes from the Bible
w--indicates warm clothing

+ 199 Galinda (mom) and +Alex, +Edward, +Evelyn, and +Jazmine -- Prayed for God's provision and blessing for the new year.

+Clyde (young man) -- He asked prayer for guidance about his daughter Emilia.

+ 199 Nima (woman) -- She asked prayer for good health.

Joe (young man) -- He is starting work at a new job on Thursday. We prayed that he would be blessed in the job and be a blessing to others.

+ 199 Jamie (man) -- "I just lost my father and my brother a week apart." We prayed for peace and comfort for him.

+ w 199 Christine (woman) -- "To become more stable." and + Kenny (man)

+Bill (young man) -- He asked prayer for a safe and good new year. He said his kids always take his cross.

+Imiah (young woman) -- She asked prayer for her mom Shane whose leg is messed up.

+ 199 John (man) -- "For my family."

+ 199 Christine (young woman) -- She asked prayer for a year of blessing.
+ 199 Lamont (young man) -- When I asked him if he had ever given his life to Jesus, he said, "Well I was baptized." We indicated that wasn't necessarily the same thing. When we asked him if he would like to give his life to Jesus, he said, "Yes." He invited Jesus into his heart, asked Jesus to be his Lord and Savior, and then confessed his sins to Jesus. We then led him in asking for and accepting Jesus' forgiveness of all his sins. When we showed him If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) and explained to him that he was now clean, he started laughing with joy and said, "I have never felt like this before."

+ w 199 Anika (young woman) -- "A job." She also asked prayer for her mother Sadie who has high blood pressure.

+ 199 Maxine (Tobias, a regular' aunt) -- We prayed for a new year of blessing for her.
