1/2/2014, #2, 1st Quarter 2014
Lord, bring us to that same freedom of the Spirit that Paul had: he knew he was in a Roman prison, yet he knows he is your prisoner -- that you have him where you want him. Help us view our circumstances with that same freedom.
with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, (Ephesians 4:2)
Holy Spirit, let all you fruit be manifested in our lives, including longsuffering and bearing with one another in love.
endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:3)
Father, please help us enter into the love life you have with your son Jesus and with the Holy Spirit so that we may know your peace which passes all understanding.
A word received: Place your hope in me.
