1/28/2014, #24, 1st Quarter 2014

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:12-14)
Jesus, by your blood and Holy Spirit please cleanse my conscience of all dead works. Thank you.

Then he brought him outside and said, "Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them." And he said to him, "So shall your descendants be." And he believed in the LORD, and he accounted it to him for righteousness. (Genesis 15:5-6)
Father, bring us to that righteousness that comes from believing your word to us. Thank you.

A word received: Come into my arms.

Tuesday: 45 * 47, 48; Gen. 15:1-11, 17-21: Heb. 9:1-14: John 5:1-18
Wednesday: 119:49-72 * 49, [53]; Gen. 16:1-14: Heb. 9:15-28: John 5:19-29
