There were 5 (Ricos, Ilex, Chris, Thomas, and Scott) who gave their lives to Jesus this evening. In each case we led them to 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We also showed them that they have a Father in heaven who has adopted them as his children. Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." We explained that "Abba" meant "Dad" and that they could now cry out, "Dad, come and help me."

Gary (staff) -- We prayed that his finances would be brought under control and that he and his wife would have a common mind in Jesus. He asked prayer for his sons Josh (29) who is a teacher's aide and is underemployed and Christopher (27) who is a court officer, and for his daughter Becky who is a stay-at-home mom. He also asked prayer for Dennis, a friend, to be set free from addiction. We also prayed for Jean.
