Schenectady City Mission Prayer Table Report

Schenectady City Mission Prayer Table Report, Thursday, May 15, 2014, 4:55 - 6:10 p.m.. Torre and Jean Bissell, and Chuck Rinaldo from Christ Church Schenectady. This took place during the evening meal at the City Mission.

+--indicates received a wooden cross made by Dennis Adams of North Carolina
a--indicates anointed with Holy Water
199--"199 Promises of God", a small paperback with encouraging quotes from the Bible
NT--indicates received a New Testament

Gary (staff) -- Things are going smoother for him. We prayed for the kidnapped girls in Nigeria and for the meditation he would give to start the evening meal.

Smiley (staff) -- We prayed that he would quickly recover from the stroke so that he could get the doctor's clearance to return to work.

Ted (volunteer) -- Camille is off antibiotics. She is tired all the time. She has a doctor's appointment on the 20th. We prayed for Ted who is seeing the surgeon tomorrow about a hernia operation.

+ 199 Yashira (young girl) -- She asked prayer for her family.
+ 199 Riana (young girl) -- Her grandmother, Donna, is still in jail. We prayed that she would get out soon. Yashira and Riana are sisters.

+ a NT Nate (man) -- He confessed his sins to Jesus and accepted him as Lord and Savior and accepted the forgiveness of his sins. We showed him 1 John 1:9 and Romans 8:15. He needs to pass a drug test so that he can get a job to support his family. He plays the drum in his church's music group.

+ a NT Andrew (man) -- "I need to get right with God." He confessed his sins and accepted Jesus' forgiveness and that he is now clean.

++ a Henry (man) -- He came seeking God's intervention in his life.

+ a NT Lee (man) -- He confessed his sins to Jesus and accepted God's forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9).

+++ Susan (woman) -- She needs a place to live and her son Jason needs medical care. Her son Matthew is homeless. She also asked prayer for her daughters Elizabeth and Mary Ellen. She gave her many burdens to Jesus and prayed that she would leave them at the foot of the cross.
