9/4/2014, #19, 3rd Quarter 2014

They said to the blind man again, "What do you say about him because he opened your eyes?" He said, "He is a prophet." But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind and received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight. (John 9:17-18 )
Jesus, we are so slow to recognize what you are doing among us. Open the eyes of our hearts so that we may see you and recognize your work. Thank you.

As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, "Now separate to me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. (Acts 13:2-3)
Holy Spirit, please help us discern your call on the lives of the men and women and youths you have set aside for your work.
