They said, "Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to dismiss her." And Jesus answered and said to them, "Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. But from the beginning of the creation, God 'made them male and female.' 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate." In the house His disciples also asked Him again about the same matter. Mark 10:4-10 (NKJV)
Jesus, reestablish marriage in our culture.

Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." And He took them up in His arms, put His hands on them, and blessed them. Mark 10:13-16 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us receive and welcome children as Jesus did.

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1 (NKJV)
Jesus, please help us find our strength in you.

Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him. Isaiah 59:15b-16 (NKJV)
LORD, raise up intercessors among us.

I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations. For I have said, "Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens." Psalm 89:1-2 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us make known your faithfulness and mercy.

Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance. Psalm 89:15 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us know the joyful sound of those who walk in your light.

A word received: Let your attention be on me and not on the circumstances of your life.

Albany Intercessor
