2017 04 10
Lord, help me surrender my will so that I don't even plot such evil.
The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: "Hosanna! 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' The King of Israel!" John 12:12-13 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me cry out, "Hosanna!" to Jesus.
"Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your King is coming, Sitting on a donkey's colt." John 12:15 (NKJV)
Jesus, as you come more and more intomy life, help me set aside my fears.
The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, "You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him!" John 12:19 (NKJV)
Jesus, I pray that you will win the victory among our brothers and sisters in Egypt and the Middle East, or wherever they are persecuted.
For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, Philippians 3:3 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me find my confidence in you and not in what my flesh can do.
Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; Philippians 3:8-9 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me be found in you and your righteousness.
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14 (NKJV)
Father, help me daily press on to your upward call.
You have planted them, yes, they have taken root; they grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth but far from their mind. Jeremiah 12:2 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, be in my mind and on my tongue.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills-- from whence comes my help? Psalm 121:1 (NKJV)
LORD, you are my help and my strength.
A word received: You are in my care; that is sufficient.
