Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me." Luke 7:22-23 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us tell others what we have heard and seen you do.

And when all the people heard Him, even the tax collectors justified God, having been baptized with the baptism of John. But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the will of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him. Luke 7:29-30 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us to be among those who submit their lives to your baptism and purposes.

And the Lord said, "To what then shall I liken the men of this generation, and what are they like? They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another, saying: 'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we mourned to you, and you did not weep.' For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, 'Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' But wisdom is justified by all her children." Luke 7:31-35 (NKJV)
Father, please help us repent of thinking that Jesus should dance to our tune.

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. Colossians 3:12-13 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for calling us to a life of forgiveness. Thank you for forgiving us; help us do the same to others.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Colossians 3:15 (NKJV)
Lord, let your peace dwell in my heart.

For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul." After this I awoke and looked around, and my sleep was sweet to me. Jeremiah 31:25-26 (NKJV)
Father, thank you for the comfort you give my soul.

Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing, Psalm 92:13-14 (NKJV)
LORD, plant me in your house and help me bear good fruit in old age.

A word received: Look to me when you are discouraged. I AM there waiting for you.
