Jesus, please help me bear whatever crosses are laid on me on the road to Calvary.
There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. Luke 23:32-33 (NKJV)
Jesus, you mingled with sinners even as you died. Help us by your Holy Spirit to reach out to the lost and the least.
Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" Acts 9:4 (NKJV)
Jesus, let your light break forth in the lives of those who persecute your people. We cry out to you for all those who are forced to flee persecution; help them find shelter in your arms.
So he, trembling and astonished, said, "Lord, what do You want me to do?" Then the Lord said to him, "Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." Acts 9:6 (NKJV)
Father, please help each of us ask Saul's question: "Lord, what do You want me to do?"
Then Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, "Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the LORD will work for us. For nothing restrains the LORD from saving by many or by few." 1 Samuel 14:6 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, when it all seems impossible, help me trust God our Father to provide.
A word received: Give me your fears; I Am able to do what you cannot.
