There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. ... Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." Luke 23:32-33...42 (NKJV)
Lord, we pray for those being executed today -- that even now they will turn to you as this one did.

Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." And they divided His garments and cast lots. Luke 23:34 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us to forgive as you did, for we also need to be forgiven.

And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God." The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine, and saying, "If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself." Luke 23:35-37 (NKJV)
Father, you sent your son to die for all of us, even those who mock him. Send your Holy Spirit to turn their hearts to Jesus.

And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Luke 23:38 (NKJV)
Jesus, I want you to be king of my heart.

Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us." Luke 23:39 (NKJV)
Jesus, save my soul -- don't let me settle for a quick fix out of life's trials.

But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong." Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." Luke 23:40-43 (NKJV)
Thank you, Holy Spirit, for what you did in this man's heart. Come to all those who are dying and lead them to paradise.

A word received: Come, follow me even to the cross.
