2017 07 14

As it is written in the Prophets: "Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You." "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the LORD; make His paths straight.' " Mark 1:2-3 (NKJV)
Holy Trinity, One God, prepare the way in my heart for you to come in more and more. Make my paths straight.

I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit." Mark 1:8 (NKJV)
LORD, I ask for a fresh baptism of your Holy Spirit.

Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. Acts 10:34-35 (NKJV)
Father, please help us take these words to heart and embrace all whom you have called.

To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins." While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. Acts 10:43-44 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, fall upon us as we hear your word preached.

And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered, Acts 10:45-46 (NKJV)
Jesus, please help us to be astonished by the work of your Holy Spirit.

"Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?" And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days. Acts 10:47-48 (NKJV)
Holy Father, please help us receive all whom you have baptized with your Holy Spirit.

Show me Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day. Psalm 25:4-5 (NKJV)
Lead me, LORD; I wait on you.

Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. Psalm 25:12 (NKJV)
     LORD, teach me.

A word received: Lay your burdens at my feet and leave them there.
