2018 02 14

I am discontinuing my landline phone as of February 24th. Please call or message me on my cell phone at 518 605 1150.

Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Luke 18:9 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me trust in Jesus rather than in myself.

"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other men--extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.' Luke 18:10-12 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me repent of self-centered prayers.

And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!' I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." Luke 18:13-14 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, bring me to your humility of heart.

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Hebrews 12:1 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me lay aside the weight of sin and run with endurance the race you have set before me.

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV)
Jesus, I look to you. Complete your work in me.

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV)
Father, please help us pursue peace with all your people.

Seek the LORD and live, lest He break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, with no one to quench it in Bethel-- Amos 5:6 (NKJV)
LORD, I seek you so that I may live.

Seek good and not evil, that you may live; so the LORD God of hosts will be with you, as you have spoken. Hate evil, love good; establish justice in the gate. It may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph. Amos 5:14-15 (NKJV)
Jesus, I seek your good; help me reject what you see as evil.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 (NKJV)
LORD, set me free from fear and give me your strength.

When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek." Psalm 27:8 (NKJV)
     LORD, I seek your face.

Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD! Psalm 27:14 (NKJV)
Father, I am waiting on you for more of your Holy Spirit.

A Word Received: Trust in me; hope in me; I will not disappoint you.
