2018 03 17

So He asked his father, "How long has this been happening to him?" And he said, "From childhood. And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us." Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." Mark 9:21-23 (NKJV)
Jesus, please help us believe in what you can do.

Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" Mark 9:24 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us in our unbelief.

So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting." Mark 9:29 (NKJV)
Father, bring us to a life of prayer and fasting.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1 (NKJV)
Jesus, there is so much "sounding brass and clanging cymbal" in our society today. Have mercy on us.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me receive your gift of love.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:3 (NKJV)
Father, help me desire what will truly profit me.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us endure with your love.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV)
Father, help me live a life of faith, hope and charity.

Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground." Exodus 3:5 (NKJV)
Father, help us by your Holy Spirit to recognize when we are on holy ground.

So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites. Exodus 3:8 (NKJV)
Jesus, please bring us into your place of provision.

Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful. Praise the LORD with the harp; make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings. Psalm 33:1-2 (NKJV)
Lord GOD, you are my rock and my refuge.

My times are in Your hand; Psalm 31:15a (NKJV)
     Thank you, LORD.

A Word Received: Pray for those who are in bondage. Pray that I will deliver them.
