Then they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to Him. And they said to Him, "By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority to do these things?" Mark 11:27-28 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us recognize the authority Jesus has over our lives.

But Jesus answered and said to them, "I also will ask you one question; then answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things: The baptism of John--was it from heaven or from men? Answer Me." And they reasoned among themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' He will say, 'Why then did you not believe him?' But if we say, 'From men' "--they feared the people, for all counted John to have been a prophet indeed. So they answered and said to Jesus, "We do not know." And Jesus answered and said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things." Mark 11:29-33 (NKJV)
Set the captives free who fear to make a choice for what you have done, O God.

Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for sealing us with your Holy Spirit.

I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1 (NKJV)
Fill my mouth with your praise, Lord.

My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Psalm 34:2 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me speak words of hope to the humble.

Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:3 (NKJV)
Father, please help me magnify your name.

I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4 (NKJV)
     LORD, I seek you.

A Word Received: Look to me for hope that does not disappoint.
