2018 06 01

Pray for the diocesan workers and volunteers as they work to prepare the way for the Diocesan Convention.

Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches." Matthew 13:31-32 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, let faith in Jesus grow in me daily.

Another parable He spoke to them: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened." Matthew 13:33 (NKJV)
Jesus, let the leaven of your Holy Spirit grow in me.

Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has contentions? Who has complaints? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes? Those who linger long at the wine, those who go in search of mixed wine. Do not look on the wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it swirls around smoothly; at the last it bites like a serpent, and stings like a viper. Proverbs 23:29-32 (NKJV)
Father, bless the ministry of Alcoholics Anonymous and set us free from the notion that drunkenness equals happiness.

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. Psalm 32:1-2 (NKJV)
LORD, thank you for forgiving my sins. Jesus, thank you for covering my sins with your blood.

A Word Received: Share the good news of what I have done for you and in you.
