2018 06 17

I had a wonderful visit with family in Ohio at a wedding the last couple of days.

And the Lord said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Luke 12:42-43 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us be about our master's business.

Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. Acts 13:1 (NKJV)
Thank you, Lord, for rescuing Manaen from the influence of Herod.

As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, "Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. Acts 13:2-3 (NKJV)
Jesus, help the church recognize and ordain those who have been separated by the Holy Spirit for his work.

And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time." And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Acts 13:11 (NKJV)
Lord, there are so many wandering around in a dark mist. Rescue them and bring them to repentance.

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: "Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, 'This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace." ' "So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them." Numbers 6:22-27 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us bless our children so that they are set aside for you.

Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! For His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD! Psalm 117:1-2 (NKJV)
Thank you, LORD, for your merciful kindness to me. Let your word and truth endure in my heart forever.

A Word Received: Receive my blessing.
