2018 08 27

There is an important meeting of the clergy of the diocese with Bishop Bill on Thursday, September 6th. Please pray about committing yourself to prayer and fasting for this meeting from 9 am to 4 pm on Wednesdays leading up to this meeting. Thank you.

     Jesus, thank you for life eternal with you.

Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus. Acts 9:19b (NKJV)
     Holy Spirit, build us up by spending time with other disciples. Thank you.

Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God. Acts 9:20 (NKJV)
     Holy Spirit, please help us by word and deed preach Christ.

But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. Acts 9:27 (NKJV)
     Lord, thank you for the life and ministry of Barnabas.

Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied. Acts 9:31 (NKJV)
     LORD, build us up in you and help us walk in your way and receive the comfort of your Holy Spirit.

     Father, please help me fully commit my cause to you.

"Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. Job 5:17 (NKJV)
     Father, please help me be a son who joyfully receives your corrections.

Lord, You have been favorable to Your land; You have brought back the captivity of Jacob. Psalm 85:1 (NKJV)
     LORD, set free the captives. Set them free in mind, body and spirit.

Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? Psalm 85:6 (NKJV)
     Revive us, Holy Spirit.

Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway. Psalm 85:13 (NKJV)
     Jesus, please help us walk in your ways. Thank you.
