For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. YET WHO KNOWS WHETHER YOU HAVE COME TO THE KINGDOM FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS?" Esther 4:14 (NKJV)
My sense of things is that God is calling each of us in our own locations and situations to consider God's call upon our lives. These are "times that try men's souls", yet they are times when we are called to count the cost of following Jesus Christ, wherever he may lead us.
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. John 10:1-2 (NKJV)
Jesus, don't let me be deceived, but bring me in by your narrow gate.
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. John 10:11 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for giving your life for me.
I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. John 10:14 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for knowing me and still loving me.
Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; Acts 13:38 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, let there be such preaching here.
For innumerable evils have surrounded me; my iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head; therefore my heart fails me. Psalm 40:12 (NKJV)
Father, please let my hands be doing your work.
But I am poor and needy; yet the LORD thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God. Psalm 40:17 (NKJV)
Father, give us a heart of wisdom.
A Word Received: Come to me with your burdens.
