2019 01 15

Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." Mark 1:14-15 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us act on what Jesus said -- that the kingdom of God is at hand.

And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then Jesus said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men." Mark 1:16-17 (NKJV)
Jesus, let us be fishers of men.

They immediately left their nets and followed Him. Mark 1:18 (NKJV)
Father, help me immediately answer Jesus' call.

Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy One of God!" But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!" And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him. Mark 1:23-26 (NKJV)
Cleanse us, Jesus, of any unclean spirits.

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: Ephesians 1:15-16 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us keep one another in prayer.

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, Ephesians 1:17-18 (NKJV)
Lord, open eyes of my heart so that I may see you.

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. Isaiah 40:28 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you that you never give up on me.

As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? Psalm 42:1-2 (NKJV)
LORD, I long for more of you in my life.

A Word Received: Come to me; turn to me; I Am waiting with open arms.
