2019 01 25

From Marilyn, an intercessor for the diocese in Maine:
Dear Torre,
I woke every hour through the night last night and was moved to pray for Bishop Love and the Diocese of Albany as you struggle through this difficult time. I sang, “Rock of Ages, cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee,” as I thought of all the opposition Albany is facing. May the Holy Spirit bring your bishop peace and confidence in the protection of his Lord Jesus.

Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. Mark 4:36 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me take you as you are.

Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. Mark 4:39 (NKJV)
Jesus, rebuke the storms that assail us.

But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" Mark 4:40 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, set us free from fear. Replace our fear with trust in Jesus.

And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him. Ephesians 6:9 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help managers and leaders of companies and leaders of government to have compassion on their workers.

Tell and bring forth your case; yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, a just God and a Savior; there is none besides Me. Isaiah 45:21 (NKJV)
Father, please help us set aside all other gods, for they cannot speak or do us any good.

Out of the depths I have cried to You, O LORD; Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications. Psalm 130:1-2 (NKJV)
LORD, I cry out to you for help and deliverance; please hear my cry and answer me.

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. Psalm 130:5 (NKJV)
Jesus, I wait on you. You are my hope.

A Word Received: Look to me when you are discouraged. Hope in me and see what I will do.
