2019 02 14

Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!" Mark 10:23 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us recognize our spiritual poverty.

And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, "Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! Mark 10:24 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us place our trust in you and not in the riches of the world.

So Jesus answered and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel's, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time--houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions--and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first." Mark 10:29-31 (NKJV)
Father, help me leave behind whatever hinders me from following Jesus.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me be a diligent worker for you.

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity." 2 Timothy 2:19 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us depart from iniquity.

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1 (NKJV)
LORD, let your light shine on me and light my path to you.

"Instead of bronze I will bring gold, instead of iron I will bring silver, instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. I will also make your officers peace, and your magistrates righteousness. Isaiah 60:17 (NKJV)
Father, restore justice and mercy for the poor of this land.

The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad! Psalm 97:1 (NKJV)
Jesus, please help me rejoice in your sovereignty.

You who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97:10 (NKJV)
Jesus, preserve my soul and deliver me.

A Word Received: Wait; wait on me. I Am coming to you.
