He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God." John 8:42 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us hearken to Jesus’ words.

And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges. John 8:50 (NKJV)
Father, help us seek your glory.

Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." John 8:58 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us receive your word into our hearts.

For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Romans 8:13 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us to live.

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14(NKJV)
Jesus, help me live by grace.

For as the sash clings to the waist of a man, so I have caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to Me,' says the LORD, 'that they may become My people, for renown, for praise, and for glory; but they would not hear.' Jeremiah 13:11 (NKJV)
Father, help us hear and cling to you according to your heart’s desire.

Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; and on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God. Psalm 43:4 (NKJV)
Help me, Jesus, come to your altar and praise you.

A Word Received: Listen to me; listen for my word to you.
