2019 04 01

Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:29-31 (NKJV)
Lord, help us break off the chains of apathy that keep us from speaking with the boldness we should have.

Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?" But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. Philip answered Him, "Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little." One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to Him, "There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?" John 6:5-9 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you that when our resources aren’t adequate, yours are.

Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another--to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. Romans 7:4 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me bear the fruit Jesus is looking for.

"And it shall be, when you show this people all these words, and they say to you, 'Why has the LORD pronounced all this great disaster against us? Or what is our iniquity? Or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?' then you shall say to them, 'Because your fathers have forsaken Me,' says the LORD; 'they have walked after other gods and have served them and worshiped them, and have forsaken Me and not kept My law. And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me. Jeremiah 16:10-12 (NKJV)
LORD, each one does what is right in his own sight; have mercy on us and bring us back to you.

I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 89:1 (NKJV)
Father, help me sing of your mercies and show forth your faithfulness. Thank you.

A Word Received: Proclaim my faithfulness to this generation.
