Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD. Jeremiah 17:5 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us as a people to return to Jesus and place our trust in him.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. " Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV)
Lord, make my heart to be a well-watered garden for you.

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:9-10 (NKJV)
Father, please help me repent of deceitful sin.

Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise. Jeremiah 17:14 (NKJV)
Jesus, I turn to you for healing.

"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. John 15:1-2 (NKJV)
Father, help me bear good fruit for you.

You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. John 15:3 (NKJV)
LORD, cleanse me by your word and Holy Spirit.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:4-5 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me abide in you and bear good fruit.

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. John 15:10 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me keep your commandments.

Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, "Look at us." Acts 3:1-4 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us recognize the opportunities for ministry that you prepare for us.

A Word Received: Look to me with hope and expectation.
