There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!" Mark 7:15-16 (NKJV)
Lord, let the words that come from my mouth be from your Holy Spirit. Do not let me be defiled by my words.

But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Acts 16:25 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me join Paul and Silas in singing God’s praises, even in the hard times.

Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed. Acts 16:26 (NKJV)
Jesus, I pray for prisoners that the power of your praise will open their prison doors to new life in you.

And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." Acts 16:30-31 (NKJV)
Father, help me have a ready answer to this question as Paul and Silas did.

Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. Acts 16:32 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us speak your word to others.

And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. Acts 16:33 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us bind up the wounds of others and lead them to new life.

Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, and in Your righteousness. Do not enter into judgment with Your servant, for in Your sight no one living is righteous. Psalm 143:1-2 (NKJV)
O LORD, I plead the blood of your son Jesus. He is my righteousness and hope.

Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies; in You I take shelter. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness. Psalm 143:9-10 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please teach us your ways.

A Word Received: Bless me in your hour of need.
