But Peter followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. And he sat with the servants and warmed himself at the fire. Mark 14:54 (NKJV)
Lord, so many follow you “at a distance”. Give them courage of their convictions.

Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? James 2:5 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us love and minister to the poor among us.

When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the LORD, saying: "For He is good, for His mercy endures forever." 2 Chronicles 7:3 (NKJV)
Father, help us join in this worship and declare your goodness and mercy.

Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation. Psalm 62:1 (NKJV)
Lord GOD, I wait for you and your saving work in my soul.

He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved. Psalm 62:2 (NKJV)
LORD, you are my rock of refuge and my salvation.

Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:8 (NKJV)
Jesus, I pour out my heart to you. Thank you for being my refuge and for hearing me.

A Word Received: Continue to wait for my day and my time.
