2019 09 07

Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. James 5:7-8 (NKJV)
Lord Jesus, my times and seasons are in your hands; please give me patient endurance while I wait for you to move more in my life.

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:14-15 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, guide the elders of the church in ministering healing.

Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins. James 5:19-20 (NKJV)
Father, please help us guide sinners to your son Jesus.

Psalm 63 Header: A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah
Lord, your church has become a wilderness; have mercy on us and guide us to a fruitful place in you.

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. Psalm 63:1 (NKJV)
LORD, my soul is thirsty for your living waters.
