2019 10 01

"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. Matthew 7:1-2 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please give me discernment rather than judgment.

And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Matthew 7:3-5 (NKJV)
Jesus, set me free from hypocrisy.

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 (NKJV)
Father, I ask for more of your kingdom life in me.

Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me live out my walk with you.

Now do not be stiff-necked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the LORD; and enter His sanctuary, which He has sanctified forever, and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of His wrath may turn away from you. 2 Chronicles 30:8 (NKJV)
LORD God, set your people free from being stiff-necked and help them return to you with thanksgiving.

Then the priests, the Levites, arose and blessed the people, and their voice was heard; and their prayer came up to His holy dwelling place, to heaven. 2 Chronicles 30:27 (NKJV)
LORD, let our prayer come to you.

Help, LORD, for the godly man ceases! For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men. They speak idly everyone with his neighbor; with flattering lips and a double heart they speak. Psalm 12:1-2 (NKJV)
LORD, have mercy on the Episcopal Church.

May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things, who have said, "With our tongue we will prevail; our lips are our own; who is lord over us?" Psalm 12:3-4 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, cleanse the hearts of the leaders of the Episcopal Church.

"For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now I will arise," says the LORD; "I will set him in the safety for which he yearns." Psalm 12:5 (NKJV)
Father, hear the cry of the poor and needy in the land.

The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. You shall keep them, O LORD, You shall preserve them from this generation forever. Psalm 12:6-7 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us keep your word.

The wicked prowl on every side, when vileness is exalted among the sons of men. Psalm 12:8 (NKJV)
LORD, the times are evil and wickedness in praised.

A Word Received: Let me purify your heart with my Holy Spirit.
