Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever. Matthew 8:14 (NKJV)
Jesus, please come into our homes with your healing touch.

So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them. When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, Matthew 8:15-16 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for bearing our infirmities and sicknesses.

For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship. 1 Corinthians 9:16-17 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us carry out the stewardship you have laid for us.

But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. 1 Corinthians 9:27 (NKJV)
Father, help me bring my body under your discipline.

And Isaiah said to them, "Thus you shall say to your master, 'Thus says the LORD: "Do not be afraid of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me. Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land." ' " 2 Kings 19:6-7 (NKJV)
LORD, as you did for Hezekiah, set us from fears of evil rumors and those who would invade our diocese with false teaching.

How lovely is Your tabernacle, O LORD of hosts! My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Psalm 84:1-2 (NKJV)
LORD, I long to be in your presence and receive more of you.

Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young -- even Your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they will still be praising You. Psalm 84:3-4 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me find a nest by your altar.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage. Psalm 84:5 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, set my feet on the pilgrim’s path.

A Word Received: Follow me and you will have steady feet and will not stumble.
