2019 10 11

When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!" Matthew 9:27 (NKJV)
Lord, I pray you will have mercy on both the physically blind and the spiritually blind.

And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." Matthew 9:28 (NKJV)
Jesus, I believe you are able to do this.

Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you." Matthew 9:29 (NKJV)
Holy Father, let our faith in Jesus lead us to healing.

And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, "See that no one knows it." But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country. Matthew 9:30-31 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us know when to speak and when to be silent (see Ecclesiastes 3:7).

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." Matthew 9:36-38 (NKJV)
Lord, there are so many lost sheep; bring forth shepherds into the harvest fields. Thank you.

A Word Received: Pray for eyes to see the lost and the least and a heart to reach out to them with compassion and the gospel.
