2019 10 12

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Matthew 9:35 (NKJV)
Jesus, please come through the communities of this diocese with your teaching and healing.

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Matthew 9:36 (NKJV)
Father, have compassion on the lost sheep among us.

Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, move the hearts of your people to go out into the harvest fields.

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Matthew 10:1 (NKJV)
Jesus, please help us receive and use the power of your Holy Spirit.

Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:27-28 (NKJV)
Jesus, bless and protect our bishop, prophets, leaders, workers of miracles, healers, administrators and those with the other gifts of your Holy Spirit.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us to love one another.

Man goes out to his work and to his labor until the evening. Psalm 104:23 (NKJV)
LORD, help us go forth to the labor you have set aside of each of us. Thank you.

A Word Received: Look to me for guidance in the storm.
