Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ Philippians 3:8 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me have your perspective on the treasures that the world offers.

and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; Philippians 3:9 (NKJV)
Jesus, bring me to the righteousness that come from faith in you.

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, Philippians 3:10 (NKJV)
Father, please help me know in my life. the power of Christ’s resurrection

if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Philippians 3:11 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me live in the hope of the resurrection.

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Philippians 3:12 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me daily press on so that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has laid hold of me.

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, Philippians 3:13 (NKJV)
Father, I continue to reach out for those things which are ahead.

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14 (NKJV)
     Jesus, I press on.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (NKJV)
Lord Jesus, I run the race to attain the prize: an imperishable crown from you.

A Word Received: Keep running the race; never give in.

My son and grandsons all completed the NYC Marathon yesterday.
