2019 11 19

And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?" So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." Matthew 17:18-21 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, restore a life of prayer and fasting to your church and your people.

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. Rev 21:3 (NKJV)
Father, thank you for choosing to be with us.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Rev 21:4 (NKJV)
Jesus, comfort your people who grieve and mourn.

Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." Rev 21:5 (NKJV)
Jesus, renew your church and your people.

And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. Rev 21:6 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us find our beginnings and endings in you.

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. Rev 21:7 (NKJV)
Holy Trinity, One God, help me overcome all the attacks of the evil one.

When these things were done, the leaders came to me, saying, "The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, with respect to the abominations of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. Ezr 9:1 (NKJV)
LORD, we too have not separated ourselves from the abominations of the surrounding culture.

And I said: "O my God, I am too ashamed and humiliated to lift up my face to You, my God; for our iniquities have risen higher than our heads, and our guilt has grown up to the heavens. Ezr 9:6 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, give us a spirit of repentance as well.

Save Bishop Bill, O God, by Your name, and vindicate him by Your strength. Hear his prayer, O God; give ear to the words of his mouth. For strangers have risen up against him, and oppressors have sought after his life; They have not set God before them. Ps 54:1-3 (NKJV-adapted)
LORD, protect Bishop Bill and this diocese.

Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life. Ps 54:4 (NKJV)
     LORD, you are our helper.

A Word Received: Look to me for deliverance.
