2019 11 21

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Mt 18:1-4 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us see things from Jesus’ perspective. Bring us to the conversion he desires for us.

Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. Mt 18:5 (NKJV)
Jesus, please help me receive the children you send to me.

"But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes! Mt 18:6-7 (NKJV)
Father, there are many out there causing your little ones to stumble and fall; have mercy on us.

If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire. Mt 18:8-9 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me abandon anything that keeps me from the kingdom of God.

There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever. Rev 22:5 (NKJV)
Father, you are my light. Help me to see, Jesus. Guide my steps.

He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still." Rev 22:11 (NKJV)
Jesus, bring me to righteousness and holiness.

And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. Rev 22:17 (NKJV)
     Lord, I come.

And they stood up in their place and read from the Book of the Law of the LORD their God for one-fourth of the day; and for another fourth they confessed and worshiped the LORD their God. Ne 9:3 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, let the hearing of your word bring us to confession of sin.

You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, and did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, and gave them water for their thirst. Ne 9:20 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for guiding us by your Spirit and for feeding us in the wilderness with manna and living water.

"But My people would not heed My voice, and Israel would have none of Me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, to walk in their own counsels. Ps 81:11-12 (NKJV)
Lord, much of the church is walking in stubborn ways and not heeding your word.

A Word Received: I Am the spring of living water; drink of me.
