2019 12 30

So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Then Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe." The nobleman said to Him, "Sir, come down before my child dies!" Jn 4:50 (NKJV) Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your son lives." So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, "Your son lives!" Jn 4:46-51 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us put our faith and belief into action by coming to Jesus for help in our hour of need.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. 3Jn 1:4 (NKJV)
Jesus, please help us know the joy that come from knowing that all our children walk in you.

Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God. 3Jn 1:11 (NKJV)
Father, please help us to discern what is good to imitate.

Then he cried out to the LORD and said, "O LORD my God, have You also brought tragedy on the widow with whom I lodge, by killing her son?" And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the LORD and said, "O LORD my God, I pray, let this child's soul come back to him." Then the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived. 1Ki 17:20-22 (NKJV)
O LORD, hear us when we cry out to you in anguish for those who are sick.

I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies. Ps 18:1-3 (NKJV)
Lord GOD, I call on you for your protecting hand to rest on us. Be our shield and our defense, so shall we be saved.

For You will light my lamp; the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. Ps 18:28 (NKJV)
Jesus, light my lamp - help me to see by our word.

For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall. Ps 18:29 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help me leap across every barrier that stands in my way to you.

A Word Received: Look to me for my light. I give light that the world cannot see. You will see how to walk on my path if you keep your eyes on me.
