2020 01 02

Pray for a move of the Holy Spirit among us.

Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?" Jn 6:5 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me turn to you to know how to feed the spiritually hungry.

"There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?" Jn 6:9 (NKJV)
Jesus, when we look to our own resources, we come up short. Help us turn to you for what you have for us.

And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. Jn 6:11 (NKJV)
Jesus, bless what I have for your purposes.

So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, "Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost." Jn 6:12 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, gather up the fragments of my life so that none are lost, but all are used to build up the Kingdom of God.

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, Eph 4:1 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me walk worthy of your calling on my life.

Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men." Eph 4:8 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me receive and use your gifts.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, Eph 4:11 (NKJV)
Father, help me share the gospel with others.

for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, Eph 4:12 (NKJV)
Jesus, I long to see your body equipped for the work you have for us to do.

So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God. 1Ki 19:8 (NKJV)
Father, help me go forward in the strength you give me. Thank you for your provision for me.

The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace. P s 29:11 (NKJV)
LORD, please give me your strength and peace.

A Word Received: Look to me for strength for the journey. I will supply what you need.
