2020 01 20

Now after the two days He departed from there and went to Galilee. For Jesus Himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country. John 4:43-44 (NKJV)
Jesus, you are not being honored in your church. Help us to take you at your word.

When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. John 4:47 (NKJV)
Lord Jesus, I come to you for all my children. Heal their wounds and bless them.

Because finding fault with them, He says: "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah -- not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the LORD. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more." In that He says, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. Hebrews 8:8-13 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us enter into the fullness of this new covenant life.

Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan. Genesis 14:14 (NKJV)
Father, please help us bring those who have been taken captive by sin to Jesus to be set free.

Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: "Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand." And he gave him a tithe of all. Genesis 14:18-20 (NKJV)
Father, help us receive your blessing and give you tithes of our time and possessions. It all belongs to you.

For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them. Psalm 44:3 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for all that you have given to us.

Arise for our help, and redeem us for Your mercies' sake. Psalm 44:26 (NKJV)
Arise, Lord Jesus, and rescue your church and people from all false teaching. Fill us with your word and truth. Thank you.

A Word Received: I will come at the appointed time. Prepare your hearts. Cast off the garments of sin and corruption. I will give you clean garments washed in my blood.
