Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." And He took them up in His arms, put His hands on them, and blessed them. Mark 10:13-16 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us bring children to Jesus. Help them know him as he is. Don’t let us confuse them with ideology rather than a personal relationship with him.

Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me." But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Mark 10:21-22 (NKJV)
Holy Father, help me surrender all to follow Jesus.

Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. 2 Timothy 2:14 (NKJV)
Lord, your church is filled with words of no profit; have mercy on us and cleanse your church.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me rightly speak your word.

But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, 2 Timothy 2:16-17 (NKJV)
Lord, your body, the church, is full of such cancer. Please heal it.

Here is Rebekah before you; take her and go, and let her be your master's son's wife, as the LORD has spoken." And it came to pass, when Abraham's servant heard their words, that he worshiped the LORD, bowing himself to the earth. Genesis 24:51-52 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us worship when we encounter God’s work as this servant did.

I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:1-3 (NKJV)
Holy Trinity, One God, help us worship you today.

A Word Received: Come into my presence with joy, for I Am Lord.
