2020 02 18

But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind and received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight. John 9:18 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, open our eyes to what Jesus is doing among us. Don’t let us be blinded by preconceptions of what must be true.

His parents answered them and said, "We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind; but by what means he now sees we do not know, or who opened his eyes we do not know. He is of age; ask him. He will speak for himself." His parents said these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue. John 9:20-22 (NKJV)
Jesus, people are being driven from your church because they believe your word. Have mercy on us.

And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind." John 9:39 (NKJV)
Lord, there is a judgment coming upon your church, for its leaders are denying your sovereignty.

O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs -- O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth! Rise up, O Judge of the earth; render punishment to the proud. LORD, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph? Psalm 94:1-3 (NKJV)
LORD, do not let those who deny you word triumph over this diocese and our bishop.

Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O LORD, and teach out of Your law, that You may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked. For the LORD will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance. But judgment will return to righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it. Psalm 94:12-15 (NKJV)
Father, we trust in you to be our help and our guide.

Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Psalm 95:1 (NKJV)
LORD, we lift up a shout of praise to you. Thank you for your mighty deeds.

A Word Received: Do not be afraid, for I Am with you. You are in the shelter of my love for you.
